Rest in Peace Wendy Karen Nash

November 28, 2008

Tyson and his family suffered a great loss this week. Tyson's mom, Wendy Nash, born April 25, 1951, was recently diagnosed with cancer. She began chemotherapy treatments, but she lost her life Thanksgiving Day eve, November 27th, 2008 at 10:55 p.m. EST. She died as a result of her short, but valiant battle with liver cancer at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton.

Tyson has some wonderful friends and associates within the Coyotes organization. During the game on November 28th, Coyotes broadcaster Todd Walsh aired two interviews - one with Tyson and one with his longtime friend Shane Doan.
